HELP

This assingment tracker template works on the principle of the Eisenhower Matrix. You don’t know what that is? No worries, I’ll explain it to you!

The Eisenhower Matrix is a time-management tool that helps you prioritize tasks based on their urgency and importance. By categorizing tasks into four distinct quadrants, you can determine which activities require immediate attention, which can be scheduled for later, delegated, or even deleted.

  1. Urgent and Important (Do First): Tasks that require immediate action and are critical for achieving significant outcomes.
  2. Important but Not Urgent (Schedule): Tasks that are essential for long-term success but don't require immediate action.
  3. Urgent but Not Important (Delegate): Tasks that demand immediate attention but have little impact on your long-term goals.
  4. Not Urgent and Not Important (Delete): Tasks that are neither time-sensitive nor beneficial to your objectives.

Whenever you add a new assignment, you choose whether it’s important, urgent, both, or neither. The assignment will automatically move to the assigned quadrant / table view. It will proceed to do so whenever you change its importancy or urgency. Whenever you finish an assignment you click the button “Finished” and the assignment will automatically move to your Archive. That way you won’t be cluttered with already-done assignments, and you can 100% focus on the ones you haven’t finished.
